HAPPY NATIONAL 4-H WEEK!!

For over 100 years, South Dakotans of all ages have been loving 4-H! Each year, South Dakota 4-H reaches over 20% of our state's eligible youth with educational programs, activities, and contests to help build the next generation of South Dakota!

WAGNER COMMUNITY SCHOOL

Wagner Community School welcomed a new second grade teacher, Maggie Baumgart. Maggie is originally from Parkston and attended the University of South Dakota for her teaching degree.

WAGNER ORAL INTERP BEGINS SEASON

The Wagner Oral Interp team took off to Winner on Friday, October 4, for the first meet of the year! This year, we return seniors Jackson Rolston, Presley Slaba and Macee Stimpson, and Freshmen Taya Stone and Samuel Kafka. We also welcome Portlyn Jones to the team this year!

AVON SCHOOL DISTRICT NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT - DREW HENTO

Drew Hento, Avon School District graduate and alumni, has returned to his alma mater this fall to teach fourth grade for the Avon School District. Drew is a 2006 graduate of Avon High School who then attended Dakota State University to obtain his teaching degree.
