VOIGT CHRISTMAS TRADITION CONTINUES

Driving along highway 50 going to or from Avon, one may have noticed a heartwarming brightly lit nativity scene on the front of the barn at the residence of Paul and Tracy Voigt. This nativity scene has been a part of an annual tradition that began with Paul’s dad, Vert.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY WINTER ACTIVITY DAY

The Andes Central National Honor Society (NHS) sponsored a Winter Activity Day December 18th. It was open to all children in Lake Andes to come to the school and participate in winter and Christmas inspired crafts while listening to festive Christmas music.

CLAYTON RADOS HONORED AS THE OCTOBER VETERAN OF THE MONTH

The American Legion Auxiliary Greer Unit #11 is honoring Clayton Rados as their December Veteran of the Month. Rados is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was to be drafted, but chose to enlist with the National Guard in 1970.
