Avon's 12U softball season wrapped up last weekend. Our record was 7 wins, 8 losses, and 3 ties. I appreciate all of the kids and their parents for a great season!

The calendar, and the quality of the air we breathe, insist it’s state fair season. The competition is great to watch, no matterwhatitis.Youknow,like trying to knock down a pile of cinder blocks with a ping pong ball at 50 feet.

Dante City Board Members congratulated seven businesses, with ribbon cuttings, that have been established within the last few years and are operating successfully in Dante. Thank you for participating in this special event on August 26. DANTE AG & TIRE was established in August 2021.

My son is a Boy Scout. Hopefully, he will become an Eagle Scout like his dad, his grandpa, his uncle, and not to mention eleven of the twelve men that walked on the moon. Whether he does or not, it has been an honor seeing the program help him and other boys mature into responsible young men.
