President Rachel Woods brought the Wagner Rotary Club to order on Wednesday, June 28th with her final ringing of the Rotary Bell. This marked the end of our Rotary Calendar 2022-2023 year.

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on June 15, 2023 with two guests in attendance, John and Don Slaba. Also in attendance was one Boys Stater, Dan Soukup. Americanism Officer Don Kotab had Dan Soukup give a report on his activities at Boys State this year.

Theodore “Teddy” Slaba of Wagner is the recipient of the $2,000 South Dakota Services for the Deaf Foundation Scholarship. Teddy plans to attend the University of South Dakota, majoring in education.

On June 20th, members of the Avon Music Department headed to Minneapolis for their Senior Music Trip. They have fundraised for this since their freshman year and were able to pack a lot of activities in during their two days in the city.

Riata Bultje from the Andes Central FFA Chapter, traveled to Washington D.C. during the week of June 13-18.

Many of us have likely been educated on how to be healthier, which includes the foods we should consume, and the exercise we should complete on a daily basis, so we can achieve being ‘healthy.
