NATIONAL GUARD CELEBRATES 388 YEARS

The National Guard’s birthday has been nationally recognized as December 13th. Even though this day is not a federal holiday, it is an opportunity to recognize the National Guard’s role in the defense of the nation as well as its history.

GETTING TO KNOW EDWIN YOUNG SR., NEW CHIEF OF POLICE

If one is a resident of Avon, then he or she has probably noticed a new face patrolling the town’s streets. This is because Avon has a new Chief of Police, Edwin Young Sr. Young began his work with the Avon Police Department on November 25.

The human body is composed of a typical pattern of anatomy, yet every structure varies in form from person to person. For example, humans develop with a standard set of defined muscles, yet the shape and mass of each muscle varies significantly among individuals.
