AVON'S KICKOFF TO CHRISTMAS

National Special Education Day

This year’s National Special Education Day is being celebrated on December 2nd. This day honors the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which became a law in 1975. This law guarantees that children with disabilities have access to free and appropriate public education.

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” in Lake Andes! We are doing things a little “different” this year! The City of Lake Andes, Lake Andes Community Club, and Ft. Randall Pink Ladies are supporting the following Holiday Activities not only JUST Friday, but extending into Saturday as well!!

The holidays are a wonderful time to spend time together and celebrate traditions as a family. Every family celebrates in their own unique way and develops their own traditions. The Noem family has our own Thanksgiving traditions that we enjoy together.

WAGNER ORAL INTERP TEAM ADVANCES TO STATE

Soon after the snow starts in South Dakota, Thanksgiving ushers in the holiday season. I love this time of year: gathering around the Thanksgiving feast with my family, throwing the football around outside, and giving thanks to God for our many blessings.
