WEEK 6 UPDATES OF LEGISLATIVE SESSION

NEWS From The Legislature By Rocky Blare SD District 21 Senator Every week the pace picks up in the legislature. We ended up with 293 House Bills and 186 Senate Bills introduced as of February 13. Tuesday morning, the Judiciary committee sent SB96 to the Senate.

COLORADO WOLVES? THE VOTERS WILL PROBABLY DECIDE.

As much as I believe in our democratic process and our right to vote, there’s one place, in my opinion, where we must stay out of it. I’m talking about wildlife management. These decisions must be left up to the wildlife biologists.

TRI-COUNTY RIGHT TO LIFE MEETS

The Tri-County Right To Life group met at the Dakota Christian School at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2020. There were 15 members present.

When I was a kid, my dad planted four spruce trees in our backyard. As a grade schooler they were as tall as me. But then Dad started running a garden hose from an old cistern behind the house and pumped gallons and gallons of rainwater to spur their growth.

Last week I watched a “Gunsmoke” where some kid’s dog had run off and turned sheep killer. The dog eventually returned and resumed his pet status. Ranchers wanted to kill the dog, but Fetus set up a test where the dog didn’t want to kill sheep anymore. Fact or fiction?

WITH IMPEACHMENT BEHIND US

The Senate recently voted to acquit the president of the two Articles of Impeachment sent to us by the House of Representatives, falling 19 and 20 votes short of the 67 needed to remove him from office.
