On Wednesday, July 8, the Post 11 14U boys traveled to Alexandria to try and get back on track after a rough outing on Monday as they played Alexandria-Canova.In the first inning of the first game Cooper Slaba drew a one out walk.

Avon 18U completed their 2026 season by winning a 4th-straight Little Missouri Valley League Championship in Avon on July 8. To complete the win Avon defeated Woonsocket 3-1 and Menno 5-3.

Game one: Avon rolls past Springfield 14-0Avon opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to seven doubles. Avon first got on the board when Harper Kracht doubled, scoring one run. Avon scored seven runs on six hits in the bottom of the second inning.

The Avon Swim Team traveled to Wagner on Wednesday, July 8, to compete in the Wagner Swim Meet. Swimmers from Avon joined competitors from Wagner, Chamberlain, Platte and Menno for a day of competition.
