AVON PIRATES PUNCH THEIR TICKET TO THE DOME

Avon Pirates will face off against Faulkton Area at the DakotaDome in Vermillion at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 9th. They earned their spot at the Dome with their big win over DeSmet Friday night in Avon 46-19

AC/DC THUNDERS SEASON COMES TO AN END

Andes Central/Dakota Christian traveled to Burke Tuesday, October 31st where their season came to an end after falling to Gregory in four sets. The team scored a total of 9 ace serves.

LADY RED RAIDERS HEAD TO SODAK 16

The Red Raider Volleyball team came out ready to play against the Parkston Trojans in Region play Tuesday, October 31st. The Lady Red Raiders took revenge with the big win with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 16-25 and 25-16. Wagner’s front line came out swinging.

PIRATE VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS GAYVILLE-VOLIN IN FIVE SET THRILLER

The Pirates hosted Gayville- Volin last week for five very exciting matches. The energy in the gym from both teams was intense, but in the end the Lady Pirates took the win 3-2. Leading at the serve line were Jordyn Voigt and Rilyn Thury each with 2 aces.

1ST AND 2ND GRADERS UNDEFEATED AND LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

The Avon first and second graders ended their season undefeated and were Champions of the Yankton Sertoma Flag Football League. 'These kids grew so much as a team from last year to this year, and were such a joy to watch. They have a bright future and we're looking forward to watching it!

MARTY PARENTS NIGHT HELD AT THE GAME VS SIOUX FALLS LUTHERAN

Marty hosted Sioux Falls Lutheran Tuesday, October 23 for the lady Braves final home volleyball game of the season. Unfortunately, the Braves fell to the Eagles 0-3. The score of the first and second set was Marty with 11 and Sioux Falls Lutheran with 25.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian traveled to Gregory October 23rd where they suffered the tough loss 0-3. Leading the attack was Senior Claire Johnson putting down 7 kills, 11 digs and had 1 ace serve.
