WAGNER ATTENDS SESD CROSS COUNTRY MEET

It was a very, very windy day on October 2, and not ideal for a cross country meet. However, rain or shine, wind or calm; these runners must endure. All of the runners felt the pressure of this wind, but it did not stop them from running the race.

WCS MIDDLE VOLLEYBALL TEAM

The WCS volleyball team has 28 players on their team this 2023 season. The teams are coached by long-time WCS volleyball coach Tana Langdeaux, who has coached volleyball for over thirty years at WCS and first-year coach, Lauren Bastemeyer.

PIRATES SUFFER LOSS TO ALCESTER/HUDSON 26-48

The Pirates were on the road Friday night to take on Alcester/Hudson where they suffered the tough loss 26-48. The first quarter found the Pirates only 2 points (6-8), after Aziah Meyer's 2 yard run.

COURTNEY SEES EARNS 1000 CAREER DIG DURING TOURNAMENT ACTION

Courtney Sees reached her 1,000 career dig this past weekend at the Great Plains Conference Tournament in Lake Andes. For the last couple of years, Courtney has been an asset to the volleyball team as she plays all the way around.

PIRATES SWEEP FA/M 3-0

AvonhostedFreemanAcademy/ Marion on September 25 where they dominated the night taking the win 3-0. McKenna Kocmich had 4 aces and 16 set assists, Courtney Sees had 3 aces, 8 kills and 17 digs, Lila Vanderlei had 8 kills and 10 digs, Jordyn Voigt had11digs,KaeilWallingahad 1 block.

GREAT PLAINS TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The Lady Pirates traveled to Andes Central on Saturday, September 30 for the Great Plains Conference. They started their morning facing off against Gayville/Volin where they took the loss 0-2. At the serve line Lila Vanderlei had the only ace serve of the match.

AC/DC DEFEATS MENNO

TYNDALL INVITE

Below are the AC/DC results from the Tyndall Invite on Monday, September 18. We had a very warm and breezy day along with a few challenging hills. Varsity (5000m). 26th Eilie De-Haan 26:28.77 JV (4000m). Luke Dangel 16th 17:39.79 Renner DeHaan. 21st 18:57.59 Kora Backes. 5th. 20:05.

AC/DC AT THE FISH LAKE GOLF COURSE

The AC/DC Thunder ran at the Fish Lake Golf Course (Plankinton), Wednesday, September 20th. Eilie DeHaan finished 5th with a time of 21:28.8 in the varsity race. The JV and MS all ran 3,000M. In the JV race, Luke Dangel finished 2nd with a time of 12:45.
