Wagner’s Post 11 Legion team played host to the White Caps of Platte-Geddes on Thursday, July 13, looking to avenge an earlier 7-0 loss. Carter Cournoyer was the starting pitcher for Wagner. He only went 4.

On Monday, July 10, Wagner ‘s Post 7319 14U Teener team traveled to Humboldt to partake in the Region 4A Tournament. Their first game was against West Central. West Central used two walks and two errors in the second inning to take a 2-0 lead.

On Friday, June 30, Wagner’s Post 11 American Legion team traveled to Corsica to play against the Padres of Mt. Vernon-Plankinton- Corsica-Stickney. Wagner got its offense going early as they plated three runs in the top of the first.

Avon hosted Parkston on Tuesday, June 27th in a double header. In game 1 Avon took an early lead and held Parkston to 1 run. Avon was led at the plate by Emma Yost with 2 doubles and a home run. Lydia Yost pitched and struck out 7, giving up 1 hit.

On Monday, June 26, Wagner’s Post 7319 Teener teams were back in action, this time we played host to the Gang from Canova. The 14U game would be first. Steven Peters got the start and he did a good job as went three innings and allowed just one unearned run.
