WAGNER TRACK RESULTS

On Thursday, April 27, the Wagner track and field team participated in the First Dakota Relays in Yankton. This was a bit of a different meet for us as there were a vast array of schools who we don’t typically compete against. You had AA schools Brookings and Huron along with the hosts from Yankton.

LADY RED RAIDERS OUTSCORE FMFA IN DOUBLE HEADER

The Wagner Red Raiders won both contests against Freeman/ Marion/Freeman Academy on Monday April 24th. The Phoenix started out on top scoring one in the first, but Wagner responded with seven in the bottom of the second to take the lead.

Home-Run!!

Avon Lady Pirates traveled to Wagner last Monday, April 17th to face off against the Raiders. The weather warmed up to give the fans a players a great afternoon at the ballpark. The Avon Lady Pirates were defeated by the Wagner Red Raiders by a score of 17-7.

WAGNER AT AVON RELAYS

On Tuesday, April 18, Wagner traveled to Tyndall for the Jim Flevares Relays. Wagner’s girls would finish fifth out of nine teams while the boys would finish sixth. Ashlyn Koupal would win the high jump as she would go 5’4” to claim the title.

WAGNER RED RAIDERS DEFEAT PIRATES IN 6

The Wagner Red Raiders jumped out to an early 9-2 lead over the Avon Lady Pirates and held on for the 17-7 victory on Monday April, 17th at home. Emma Yost led the Raiders with a triple, double, and four RBIs. Libby Kotab contributed a single, two walks, and brought in three.
