RED RAIDERS JV WINS 5TH IN A ROW

The Wagner JV team defeated Gregory on Tuesday night for their 5th win a row. Wagner led 16-6 after the first period> The Red Raiders only allowed 2 points in each of the next 2 quarters to take a 28-10 lead into the fourth quarter. Wagner won the game by a final score of 36-19.

WAGNER PLAYS GREGORY

The Red Raiders win streak came to an end on Tuesday night against a very good Gregory team. Wagner got down early 20-15 after the first period and trailed 38-29 at the half. The Red Raiders played better defense in the second half. Wagner cut Gregory’s lead to 3 but could not get any closer.

RED RAIDER JV WINS OVER CORSICA STICKNEY

Wagner’s JV held Corsica Stickney 2 just 2 points in the second quarter on their way to a 47-26 victory on Saturday in Wagner. The Red Raiders led by 2 points after the first period 9-7. The Red Raiders locked down their opponent in the second period and took a 23-9 lead into the half.

WAGNER DEFEATS CORSICA STICKNEY

The Red Raider boys extended their winning streak to 4 games on Saturday with a big win over the Corsica Stickney Jaguars. Wagner jumped out to a 13-7 lead and led 31-13 at the half. Wagner pulled away in the second half winning by a final score of 59--31.

WAGNER WINS JV GAME

The Red Raiders played Bon Homme in a JV basketball game on Friday night. The boys jumped out to a 16-8 lead after the first period and led 26-9 at half time. Wagner extended their lead in the second half and won the game 46-21. Parker Petry was the leading scorer for the boys with 16 points.

WAGNER BEATS BON HOMME

The Red Raider Boys outscored Bon Homme 34-19 in the second half to get a 66-53 win on Friday night. The Red Raiders were down 19-18 after 1 period and trailed 32-34 at the half. Wagner held Bon Homme to just 2 points in the third quarter and built a 12 point lead heading into the fourth period.

ROAD WARRIORS HEAD TO PARKSTON

The Lady Raiders have had the luxury of playing at home 6 out 7 games but now start a stretch where they won’t play in their own gymnasium until January 31st. It starts with region and conference foe, Parkston.

GREGORY COMES IN TO TAKE ON WAGNER

The Lady Gorilla’s came over to Wagner last Tuesday in girls basketball action. Wagner would show no mercy to the start of this game as they would go on a 20-0 to start the game. They would hold a 44-12 advantage at half and coast to a 75-29 victory.
