The Andes Central/Dakota Christian defeated Corsica Stickney in four close sets on Tuesday, October 4th.

On Monday, October 3rd the Wagner Lady Red Raiders took on Trpp/Delmont/Armour in volleyball action. The Raiders added another tally to the win column with scores of 25-23, 25-14, and 25-19.

The Lady Raider volleyball team traveled to Scotland on Tuesday, October 4th. Scores of the match were 25-9, 25-10, and 25-20. Shalayne Nagel led all attackers with 10 kills. Kya Kjeldgaard put down 8 kills, Avari Bruguier added 7 kills, Emma Yost earned 6 and Shona Kocer had 4 in the match.

We all know that there can sure be some really windy days here in South Dakota. However, last week, there weren’t really many real windy days… that is except for t h e day of our cross country meet! The wind did not care that The Wagner Raiders Cross Country Team had a meet on Thursday Oct. 29th.

The Wagner Boys Golf team traveled to Mitchell on Monday, September 26th to compete in regions for a chance at playing in the state A golf tournament. Wagner brought Matt Link, Colby Krcil, and Carter Smejkal.

Dakota Bodden is a staff member and coach at Avon School District. He has been teaching for four years, all of which have been at Avon. One of Mr. Bodden’s hidden talentsisaslightphotographic memory-he is able to recall things he sees like maps. Mr.

Ms. Saddi Wynia is a beloved member of the school and a fantastic counselor. Her first memory of Avon was thinking that it was huge because she went to a small country school when she was young.

Standing out on the court this season is the Libero, Sarah Swier. She is a senior this year and has been on the Lady Pirate Volleyball team for the last 7 years. In those 7 years, Sarah has played on varsity for 3 years.
