WAGNER AT HANSON

Wagner was defeated by Hanson April 29th, with a score of 16-1. Braxton Nedved was in the circle for the Red Raiders striking out one and walking four. Lydia Yost and Ravyn Medricky each collected a hit for the Red Raiders. Medricky batted in Yost to score the one run for Wagner.

HOWARD WOOD DAKOTA RELAYS

On Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th, Wagner took some select athletes to Sioux Falls to compete in the Howard Wood Dakota Relays. We would have two placers at this meet. Ashlyn Koupal tied her career best as she cleared a height of 5’ 7”, which she achieved two years ago as an 8th grader.

WAGNER PARTICIPATES IN DAKOTA VALLEY RELAYS

On Tuesday, April 23, Wagner traveled to Dakota Dunes to participate in the Dakota Valley Relays. There was some stiff competition at this meet. While some personal bests were gained there was not a lot of placing for Wagner’s teams.

LITTLE RED RAIDERS VOLLEYBALL CAMP

The Wagner Little Red Raiders Volleyball camp was held April 29, 30 and May 1st. We had 34 campers attend the camp to learn more about volleyball. The girls worked hard and had a lot of fun! The future looks bright! Courtesy photo.

AC/DC Results from GPC JH at Scottland Tuesday, April 23. Girls: 1600M - Aspen Niewenhuis 1st place 6:21.42 Medley Relay - 4th place (LaTia DeLange, Sophia Nelson, Lilly Niewenhuis, A. Niewenhuis) 2:22.73 800M – Mila Hopkins 2nd place – 2:53.

GREAT PLAINS CONFERENCE TRACK MEET IN ARMOUR

Andes Central/Dakota Christian Track team traveled to Armour for the Great Plains Conference Tuesday, April 23. Results are as follows: Girls: 100 Adara Hopkins 6th 14.00 400 Leah Brown 4th 1:05.51 Josie Brouwer 5th 1:05.

RED RAIDERS ON THE ROAD

The Wagner Red Raiders were defeated by the Parkston Trojans on another very windy day in Parkston on April 25, 2024, with a score of 19-4. Hannah Holzbauer started in the circle for the Raiders allowing five hits and walking seven.

WAGNER HOSTS FREEMAN/MARION/FREEMAN ACADEMY

The Wagner Red Raiders hosted the Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy Phoenix on Monday April 22nd and came up short losing 6-15. Wagner tied the game in the bottom of the first 3-3 with singles by Lydia Yost and Ravyn Medricky. Lydia Yost scored with a nice RBI by Brylie Link.

WAGNER FALLS TO THE TRAPPERS

Wagner falls to the Scotland/ Menno Trappers in another very windy battle on April 15th with a score of 1-12. In the circle for Wagner was Mara Wright who pitched all 4 innings striking out 1 and walking 7. Nedved, Medricky, and Cournoyer each racked up a hit for the Red Raiders.
