Wagner Bon Homme gymnasts competed in their first ever class AA invite. The girls were fun to watch. Surrounded by AA gymnasts, they stepped on to each event with confidence. Bars: Alexys Rueb scored an 8.175 and placed 7th, Jasmine Gilbert scored a 7.60, Addison Cuka scored a 5.

Wagner Bon Homme gymnasts competed in one of their final regular season meets Thursday in Vermillion. The girls are always fun to watch. This fun bunch of girls always finds a way to take less than ideal situations and shine.

The Bon Homme/Scotland/ Avon wrestling season has begun, and there have already been five meets, which mostly take place on the weekends. From Avon, there are three junior high wrestlers- Bailey Kemnitz, Weston Bierema, and Thayne Tjeersdma.

It was a good weekend for the Bon Homme-Scotland-Avon girls wrestling team as they finished in fourth at Pierre and took the team championship at Chamberlain on the next day.

After a long lay off due to weather the Bon Homme-Avon wrestlers got back on the mat hosting a dual against Parkston January 19. Going into this dual, the wrestlers had limited practices, and it was a little concerning just due to the fact there was not much time to prepare.

Avon hosted Viborg-Hurley January 16th for a double-header. The girls took the court first, in a game that had fans on the edge of their seats, but as the final buzzer sounded the Lady Pirates found themselves down by 1 point, 59-60.

The Andes Central National Honor Society (NHS) is now offering the homework room to all high school students on Wednesday afternoons from 2:45 p.m. until 4 p.m. The homework room will be staffed by two NHS members with members rotating and each taking a turn.
