Floanne Hadd Hayward, a long time resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 29, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 2, 1929 in Lake Andes. She was preceded in death by her parents L.J. and Mary Holden Hadd of Lake Andes.

Linda K. Zephier died Friday, June 13 at her home in Marty. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 18 at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Arrangements by Peters Funeral Home in Wagner.

Connie Waage, age 83, of Vermillion, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion, with burial to follow in Bluffview Cemetery.

Surrounded by family, Donald Harold Sieh passed away on March 15 at the age of 86. The second of five children, Don was born on November 19, 1938 in Burke to Harold and Edna Sieh. Don grew up on a farm East of Herrick, with his parents, three sisters, and a brother.

Funeral services for Larry Pudwill, 85, of Tyndall will be held Wednesday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Avon, with Pastor Bill VanGerpen officiating. Burial is in the Baptist Cemetery, rural Avon. The service will be live-streamed on the First Baptist Church Avon YouTube page.

Cleota Bryan, age 90, of Avon, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held Friday, June 13 at St. John Catholic Church in Fort Pierre. Burial was in Scotty Phillips Cemetery at Fort Pierre.

Judith “Judy” Wagner – daughter of Walter and Berniece (Bridge) Wiechmann was born on August 31, 1944 in Wagner. She passed away on June 5 at the age of 80. Judy graduated from Wagner High School in 1962. She worked in banking all her life.
