Funeral services for Chris Patterson, Sr., 51, of Wagner were held Thursday, August 19 at the National Guard Armory in Wagner. Burial was in the Holy Name Episcopal Cemetery (Choteau Creek), rural Wagner. Wake services began Tuesday at the Armory.

Funeral services for Elizabeth “Liz” Rolston, 75, of Wagner were held Saturday, August 21 at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday at the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Francis’ Life at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 19 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner, followed by military honors.

Marcielle Hamilton, age 97, of Tyndall, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall. Her funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 11 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Tyndall. Burial will be in the St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery, Tyndall.

Funeral services for Myra Klock, 93 of Avon were held Tuesday, August 10, at the First Baptist Church in Avon with Pastor Bill Van Gerpen officiating. Burial was in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.

Daniel Lee Kafka, age 65, of Sioux Falls died Sunday, August 1, 2021. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 7 at St. John American Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Terry H. Kaul, 73, of Springfield, passed on Thursday, July 29 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. Funeral services will be 10:30 on Wednesday, August 4, at Danzig Baptist Church. Visitation was Tuesday, August 3, at Danzig Baptist Church.

Lloyd Schultz, age 93, died on July 8, 2021, at the Madison Regional Health System in Madison. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, July 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Madison with Father Anthony Urban as the Celebrant. Burial was in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Colman.

Kaylene Michelle Stirling was born February 14, 1982, to Keith and Julie (Franek) Stirling in Wagner. She passed away on July 28, 2021, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Kaylene grew up in Lake Andes, graduating from Andes Central in 2000.

Mildred L. Polley, 92, of Manhattan, passed away, Sunday, July 25th, at the Via Christi Village. She was a co-owner and designer at the Polley Florist in the Blue Hills Shopping Center in Manhattan for over 25 years.
