Services were Monday, July 26, at the First Baptist Church in Avon. Burial was in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon. The service was livestreamed on the Avon First Baptist Church YouTube channel. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were Friday, July 23, at the Avon High School Gymnasium in Avon. The family requested friends to wear any sports apparel or team colors of Zach’s or your favorite sports team.

Dennis L. Krcil of Grimes, IA 72, passed away at home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Dennis was born March 20, 1949 in Tyndall to Henry and Sylvia (Carda) Krcil. He grew up farming in Dante.

Funeral services for Leonard Schinck, age 81 of Lake Andes are pending at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk. Leonard died Friday, July 16, 2021, at Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk.

Funeral services for Loren Zephier, 68, of Pickstown were Saturday, July 24 at the Marty Indian School Gym in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Loren was born June 6, 1953 and dropped his robe July 19, 2021.

Graveside services with military honors were Monday, July 12, 2021 at St. Mark’s Catholic Cemtery in Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner are in charge of arrangements. Marlo Lou Stillion was born October 28, 1937 at Wagner, the son of Clifford and Mae (Morgan) Stillion.

Ronald J. Loneman, 61, died at Douglas County Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 5, 2021. Funeral service was July 12 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour. Visitation was July 11 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour with a prayer service. Arrangements by Koehn Bros.

Funeral mass was held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Dante, with military honors. Visitation was Tuesday at the Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Rosary/wake services were Tuesday evening, at the church in Dante.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 3, at the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church, rural Armour. Burial is in the church cemetery. Karen Zoss was born in her aunt’s house on the Missouri River bottom near Wagner, on December 26, 1943 to Harold and Mary (Buchtel) Kranig.
