A walk-off single led the Wagner Red Raiders past the Scotland/ Menno Trappers 8-7 on Friday May 19th. The Red Raiders were down 7-6 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Ravyn Medricky singled on a 1-0 count, scoring the winning run. Wagner had nine hits in the game.

On Thursday, May 18, Wagner traveled to Alexandria to take part in the Region 5A Track and Field Meet. The girls would have one champion of the day. Ashlyn Koupal would win the high jump with a leap of 5’1”.

Even though the Wagner Red Raiders and the Winner Lady Warriors both had their opportunities, it was the Warriors that eventually prevailed 10-9 on Monday May 8th. Despite the loss, the Red Raiders did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair.

Two weekends ago, on May 5-6, Wagner took three athletes to compete in the Howard Wood Dakota Relays. Ashlyn Koupal competed in the high jump, Jhett Breen in the 300 hurdles, and Emma Yost in both the shot put and discus.
