It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Hyde, affectionately known as Ronnie, who departed this life peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the age of 83.

Noreen Bridges, 94, went to her heavenly home Monday, July 6, 2026 at Lake Andes Healthcare Center in Lake Andes. Funeral mass was Monday, July 13 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Geddes. Arrangements by Koehn Bros.

Funeral services for Gary Romkema, 76, of Springfield, are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 15 at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Springfield. Burial is in the Emmanuel Reformed Cemetery, rural Springfield, with military honors.

Steve H Podzimek, age 98, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Majestic Bluffs Hospice House in Yankton.Funeral Mass was Monday, July 13 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Springfield. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Dante, with military honors.

Jerry F. Novotny, 81, of Gresham, Oregon, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026. There will be a funeral at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes at 11 am July 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nature Conservancy and the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Doris J. Nedved, was born October 9, 1966. She was the fourth of five children born to Franklin and Rose Marie (Stedronsky) Nedved in Armour.

Kathleen Selma Peters, born April 17, 1954, in Delmont, joined our heavenly Father on June 26, 2026.Kathleen was the daughter of Elmer Peters and Velda (Permann) Peters. Kathleen grew up in the Delmont Wagner area with brothers Tyrone and Stanley and sister Vicki.
