Christine Terry, 52, of Omaha, NE, died Monday January 26, 2026 at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Mercy in Omaha, NE. The family is having a private viewing with cremation to follow. Please join her children in a Celebration of Life on Friday, February 13th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Elaine Mae Cihak, 97, of Dante, was Saturday, February 7 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Dante. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

A Celebration of Life for Robert Altenburg, 78, of Pickstown, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 12 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour at a later date. Visitation with family will be at the church on Thursday from 12:30 to 2 p.

Shirley Jean Hull, 84, of Laguna Niguel, CA, died on January 14, 2026. She was born on September 30, 1941, in Mitchell, the daughter of Jerry and Lorena (Pekas) Soulek. Shirley graduated from Lake Andes High School in 1959, as Class President and Valedictorian.

Jeremy Aungie, 40, of Wagner, died Friday, January 23, 2026 in Bruceton Mills, WV. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 5 at 11 a.m., at the Marty Community Center. Burial will be in Hill Church Presbyterian. Wake services will begin at 7 p.m.

Linda Marie Clemens, 71, of Wagner died Monday, January 26, 2026 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Friday, January 30, at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Roger Wayne Frankenstein, 80, formerly of Dante passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Florence, South Carolina, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Funeral services are Tuesday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial is in St.

William “Billy” LeRoy, 48, of Wagner died Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour. Funeral services were Saturday, January 31 at the gym. Following his services, Billy was cremated. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

June R. Kinder, age 82, of Willow Lake (formerly of Arlington), passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. Private graveside in Arlington Cemetery will be held by the family at a later date.

Funeral services for Jo Ellen Wormsbecher, 87, of Avon are Wednesday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m., at the Danzig Baptist Church, rural Avon. Burial is in the Danzig Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon is in charge of arrangements.
