Loren Lee Buchholz (aka Eddie Haskel), 66, of Tripp, passed away June 19th, 2026 at home. Loren was born on July 10th, 1959 in Parkston to Alfred and Josephine (Jensen) Buchholz. His family moved around growing up and went between family farms, Nebraska, and small South Dakota towns.

Carol Ann Pesicka, 90, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Wagner Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Funeral mass was Saturday, June 20 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour. Arrangements were by Koehn Bros.

Funeral services for Georgine Faye Young, 65, were Saturday, June 20 at the Greenwood Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Georgine Young was born on April 24, 1961 to Belva Flying Hawk and David Young.

Simeon Cummings, Jr, 61, died Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services were held Friday, June 12 at the Marty Community Center. He will be cremated following his funeral.

A Memorial Visitation for Jim Sprigler, age 89, of O’Neill will be 1:30-3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill. Inurnment will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, June 15.

Shirley Knodel, 77, of Scotland, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Scotland Good Samaritan Center. Shirley’s funeral was Monday, June 1 at Martinus Lutheran Church in rural Utica with Rev. Dean Schroeder and Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.

Sandra Lynn Sully, 75, of Wagner, died Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. A Celebration of Life was held onThursday, May 28 at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Wagner.

Patrick Thomas Morrow, 72, passed away on May 22, 2026 peacefully at his home.Born on March 17, 1954, Patrick lived a life full of stories, laughter, and adventure.Pat’s greatest love was trucking the open roads.
